On June 8th, 2023, Pathway Youth Development Foundation hosted World Ocean Day 2023 with the theme “Planet Ocean: Tides Are Changing.” The event took place at Kingdom Hall in Orita-Obele, Akure, Ondo State, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The event featured a live speech on ocean management, a quiz competition, and an orientation for new volunteers. Attendees were encouraged to “Think Blue and Go Green” to help stop marine pollution.
The foundation used this event to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and promote sustainable practices.
